Watford is located just northwest of London, and is accessible via the M1, M25, and A41. The town’s Live in the UK test venue is situated in the south side of the town, close to Watford F.C stadium. The test site resides within Victoria House, on the eastern end of Vicarage Road.

If you’re planning to drive to the venue, please be aware that there is extremely limited parking on-site. Therefore, it may be worth taking note of the car park mentioned below, just in case you cannot get a space at the test centre. For further parking options in the local area, please visit the following Parkopedia page.

Citi Park (Church)

This site is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Parking is charged at the reasonable price of £1 per hour. Cash and card payments are accepted here. There is also the opportunity to pay by phone, using the RingGo service line. If this is your preferred method of payment, please call 02030460060, or text 81025, and quote Location ID, 18843.

Please be aware that disabled parking is accommodated at this car park, and electronic vehicle charging facilities are also available.

Victoria House is a short, 150m walk from this site. Head south on Exchange Road, before turning right and heading west on Vicarage Road. The testing venue will appear on your right-hand side.

Bus

There are numerous local bus services that pass in close proximity to the test centre. If planning to take advantage of Watford’s bus network, please aim to arrive at one of the following bus stops, as these are all within a five-minute walk of the venue.

St. Mary’s Road: This is located opposite the Citi Park building. Therefore, please refer back to the onwards travel guidance above.

The Hornets: This bus stop is actually situated on Vicarage Road, but is around 150m westbound of the test site. Head east, progressing beyond the cemetery, over the A4178, and towards Victoria House.

Market Street: Again, as this is positioned behind Citi Park (Church), please see earlier instructions and follow route accordingly.

Train

There are several train stations in Watford. However, the two closest to the test venue are Watford High Street and Watford Junction.

Watford High Street is part of the London overground network, and therefore welcomes services from various parts of the capital. This station is located about 650m away from Victoria House, which can be reached in approximately eight minutes. Please head north-west on the slip road parallel to Exchange Road, continuing beyond Watford Grammar School for Girls, and onto Vicarage Road.

Watford Junction Train Station is significantly further away, and, if heading by foot, this journey will take roughly seventeen minutes to navigate. If walking, head south-west on Clarendon Road, before cutting through town centre (via High Street) and emerging onto Exchange Road. From here, head west onto Vicarage Road and locate the test centre on your right-hand side. The full journey will take around seventeen minutes to conduct, and is around 1.5km in length.

If you’d prefer to travel by bus, there is the option of taking the 320 Sapphire service from the train station bus stop through to The Hornets. As previously mentioned, the test site is a short, eastbound walk from this location. Using this bus route will reduce your travel time on walking by about six minutes.
