Car
Plymouth’s testing venue is located within Cobourg House, which is positioned on Mayflower Street, just to the north of the city centre. Given its relatively remote location towards the south-western tip of England, there are few major roadways heading towards Plymouth. Nevertheless, the A38 passes over its northern outskirts, and provides good onwards access towards the centre of the city.
Parking
There is limited on-street parking on Mayflower Street, located in front of the row of shops just opposite Cobourg House.
Alternatively, Mayflower House Court, situated just behind the test centre, offers a convenient parking solution. Parking is charged at a rate of £1.30 per hour, which can be paid for via card (including contactless), or the RingGo service line. Please note that there is a maximum three-hour parking threshold at this facility. However, even two hours parking coverage would provide ample time to head to the venue, conduct your exam, and then return to your vehicle.

Bus
There are multiple bus routes which pass in close proximity to Cobourg House. If taking advantage of Plymouth’s local bus network, we would recommend targeting arrival at one of the following bus stops:
Mayflower Street, Cobourg Street, Charles Street, or North Cross. All of these destinations are within a five-minute walk of the test site.

Train
Plymouth Train Station welcomes passengers from regions all over the UK and is located approximately 650m north of Cobourg House.
If looking to conduct the onwards journey from station to venue on foot, then please exit the station and turn left, before using North Road East to head southbound. Turn left at North Cross roundabout, and continue south on Cobourg Street. Finally, turn right onto Mayflower Street, and progress south-west towards the venue.
Alternatively, you may want to catch the number 101 (Plymouth City Centre) bus service from the stop directly outside the train station. This will take you to Mayflower Street stop, roughly 50m west of Cobourg House. In this instance, travelling by bus (as opposed to walking) will cut your onwards journey time in half.
