Car
Norwich’s testing venue is located within Sackville Place, located on Magdalen Street in the northern outskirts of the town centre. The A140 facilitates travel into Norwich from the north and south, whilst the A47 provides connections to locations east and west of the town.
Parking
There are numerous local car parks in the nearby area; we would recommend the following two parking sites:
Odeon Car Park: The cinema’s car park charges £1.20 per hour for parking, and is conveniently situated just 150m north of Sackville Place. Please note that the only way to pay for parking here is via the JustPark service line.
Gildengate Car Park: This site is even closer to the test venue, positioned just across the road. This is a slightly more expensive car park, charging £1.50 per hour for parking coverage. Again, this facility has the JustPark platform in operation, but also accepts cash payments.
We would encourage you to locate a space at Odeon Car Park first, as Gildengate only facilitates parking for eighteen vehicles.

Bus
There are multiple operational bus routes that pass in close proximity to Sackville Place. If taking advantage of Norwich’s local bus network, please aim to arrive at one of the bus stops mentioned below:
Anglia Square, Edward Street, Tombland, or Palace Street. All of these destinations are within a seven-minute walk of the venue.

Train
Norwich Train Station is situated approximately 1.5km south-east of the test site and welcomes passengers from various regions around the country. On foot, the route from the station to Sackville Place should take just under twenty minutes to navigate. Unfortunately, given the travel time and required walking stretches between bus stops and buildings, it is not productive to head to the test centre from the station by bus.
To access the venue from the station, head north-west through the eastern perimeter of Norwich town centre. Use Prince Wales Road to initially cross the River Yare, before continuing westbound. Turn right onto Upper King Street, and progress north on Tombland and Wensum Street to arrive onto Fyre Bridge Street. Use this road to cross the river for a second time via Fyre Bridge, before continuing north on Magdalen Street. The entrance to Sackville Place is just 20m away from the St. Crispin’s Road junction.
