Car
Leicester’s testing venue is located within the 60 Charles Street building, on Charles Street, in the eastern outskirts of the city centre. The M1 motorway passes just to the west of the city, with the A5460 and A46 offering connecting routes towards the centre of Leicester.
Parking
There are numerous local car parks located in relative proximity to the test centre.
Rutland Car Park is situated just 150m south-east of the 60 Charles Street site, and charges £2.95 per hour for parking. Please note that all payment types are accepted at this facility, and disabled spaces are available. If looking for a slightly cheaper option, you may want to visit Queen Street Car Park. A two-hour parking ticket, which will provide more than enough time to travel to the venue, conduct your exam, and return to your vehicle, will cost just £1.40. This site is approximately 300m away from the test centre, around 150m east of Rutland Car Park.

Bus
As Haymarket Bus Station is located around 500m north of 60 Charles Street, there are plenty of bus routes in operation nearby. If taking advantage of Leicester’s local bus network, we would encourage you to either head directly to Haymarket station, or target one of the bus stops positioned on Charles Street. Alternatively, arrival onto Humberstone Grove would facilitate a short, onwards journey to the test centre.

Train
Leicester Train Station welcomes services from all over the country, and is located just 650m south-east of Charles Street. If heading to the test site from the station on foot, head north through the eastern outskirts of the city centre, using the A594 and Charles Street to navigate your way towards the venue. The X3 Sapphire bus route travels to Charles Street from Station Street bus stop, which is located directly opposite the train station. Using this service as opposed to walking will shave a few minutes off your journey time.
