Car
Ipswich testing venue is located within the Hub Business Centre on Civic Drive, located in the north-west outskirts of the town centre. The A14 loops around the west and south of the town, and offers good connecting routes towards the centre of Ipswich. The A12 accommodates travel for those approaching Ipswich from the east.
Parking
There are several local car parks nearby, with The Spiral and Elm Street perhaps the most convenient facilities.
The Spiral Car Park charges £1.50 per hour for parking, and is situated approximately 300m south of the Hub Business Centre. Please note that disabled spaces are available at this site. To access the venue from here, exit the car park by turning right onto Civic Drive, and then progress north towards the test centre.
Elm Street Car Park is slightly cheaper, operating a £1.30 per hour parking rate. This car park is around 200m south of the Spiral Car Park, further down Civic Drive. Please be aware that both disabled parking and electronic vehicle charging is facilitated at this site.

Bus
There are numerous operational bus routes that pass in close proximity to The Hub Business Centre. If taking advantage of Ipswich’s local bus network, we would encourage you, if possible, to target arrival at one of the following bus stops:
Wolsey Theatre, AXA Offices, or Museum Street. All of these destinations are within a five minute walk of the test venue.

Train
Ipswich Train Station is roughly 1.5km away from Civic Drive, sitting just south-west of the town centre. Unfortunately, given the travel time and required walking stretches between bus stops and buildings, it’s not productive to head to the test site from the station by bus. On foot, this journey will take around seventeen minutes to navigate.
Head north, using Princes Street to cross the River Orwell. Continue north, before turning left at Ipswich Town football stadium, and advancing north-west up Portman Road. At the end of the road, turn right onto Handford Road, and then immediately left at the first roundabout onto Civic Drive. The venue will be positioned around 100m up on your left-hand side.
